The Westfield Mall helped fill the Mall with excitement as over 25 children built robots out of foam rubber pieces. It was a way in which SCAAN – The Santa Clarita Autism Asperger Network and The ARTree Community Arts Center brought AUTISM AWARENESS to The Westfield Town Center Mall.

Don’t forget to join us at the Westfield Mall at The Town Center for a great activity that The ARTree is doing this coming Saturday, April 28th from 10am-1pm. We are excited about partnering with SCAAN (Santa Clarita Autism Asperger Network) to bring awareness to Autism.

The ARTree is looking for volunteers for short or long-term projects. Volunteering can be as simple as assisting children in a 90-minute art class or helping out at one of our many community events. All are welcome!

Through the generosity and talent of the artists and the leadership of Bob Hernandez, ARTree has provided youth and families with an opportunity to experience the arts, learn the rich history of Santa Clarita, and take pride in their neighborhood through creative beautification projects that help to revitalize the downtown Newhall area. I look forward to working with ARTree on more projects in the future.
