ARTree plants seeds on EARTH DAY in Santa Clarita
The ARTree had hundreds of families join in the fun of making and decorating their own pots that they used to plant into. At the end of the activity they all had something special to take home.

The City of Santa Clarita’s Earth Arbor Day celebration is an event to remember the importance of being green and taking care of our planet.
The ARTree had hundreds of families join in the fun of making and decorating their own pots that they used to plant into. At the end of the activity they all had something special to take home.

Don’t forget to join The ARTree on Saturday April 14th at Central Park for this great event.
We will have a booth and a fun activity.
There were a ton of people, schools, music groups performing, artists exhibiting work, including The Santa Clarita Artists Association, there were also many organizations concerned with preserving our planet. We had a blast!

We had the kids paint plastic bottles decorate them with forks and spoons and they made beautiful Art.

The kids from P.A.I.N.T. helped us with the kids as we made a TREE from plastic bottles.

Dianne Fodarero and Paula Dwyer worked with kids assembling the plastic bottle tree.

John Fossa organized his HART District School’s kids and made some unbelievable art using items you would throw away. Congrats to all the schools!

Janis Dukakis worked with a group to present award winning art with found objects…it was amazing!

Janis displayed over 50 pieces of art created by her kids she teaches independently.
