Spanning motion picture design, comic books, book illustration, poster design, CD covers, and public murals, award-winning artist William Stout has built a legendary body of work. From his first movie poster in 1977, for Ralph Bakshi’s cult classic Wizards, Stout went on to contribute to such films as Jurassic Park, Pan’s Labyrinth and the upcoming Disney/Pixar production Magic Kingdom. More recently, his dynamic and accurate reproductions of prehistoric life are on permanent display in museums and theme parks across the nation, and over his career his work has been the subject of over 100 museum exhibitions, including a dozen one-man shows.
Come and join us at the ARTree Speaker Series to hear William Stout speak about his career, his art, and living in Antarctica (no, really!).
